My paintings are based upon photographs I have taken myself, or increasingly, by photo references supplied by my client. The most important aspect of a good photo reference, suitable for painting from, is not to use your flash. Natural light, preferably coming distinctly from the left or right, as opposed to top lit, or bottom lit, is best.
 
I will gladly assist you in compositional thoughts, as well as lighting techniques. The process can be a lot of fun, and your participation can make the completed painting all the more special.

Each painting is built to your own specifications and is hand-stretched on wooden frames by me, using premium archival-grade canvas. I use only high quality art materials. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
